Enjoy a beachside Half Marathon and 5K on Saturday, July 20th at one of New York's Best State Parks! The Half Marathon is a flat course along the countryside of Hamlin, starting inside the park and finishing along the beach. The 5K is equally as flat and has great views of Lake Ontario via the lakeside path.
Please Note:
- There is a 3.5 hour cutoff for the Half Marathon. All participants must be done by 10:30AM.
- Virtual participants will have from 7am, July 20th, 2024 through 11:59pm, July 28th, 2023 to submit their results.
- There is no day-of registration. Please plan accordingly.
In-Person Participants will receive:
• Finisher Medal
• Technical Tank Top - gender-specific sizing - shirt guaranteed if registered by June 20th, after while supplies last (Note: Color Subject to change based on availability)
• Race Bib
• Printable Finisher Certificate
• Online Results

- Ideally all races should be In Person, but if you need to do Virtual that is fine. I mean is Winter Warrior in Florida fair? :)
The 2024 5Kish Version will include
- Winter Warrior Quarter Marathon on Saturday, January 6th - this is where the (5Kish) comes in
- Flower City Challenge 5K on Sunday, April 28th
- Shoreline 5K on Saturday, July 20th
- Rochester 5K on Sunday, September 15th
- Ideally all races should be In Person, but if you need to do Virtual that is fine. I mean is Winter Warrior in Florida fair? :)

Race Morning: 6:15AM - 6:55AM towards the entrance of the parking lot 5 at the "point" of the grass island area.
Awards
Half Marathon Awards (In Person)
- Cash Prizes to Top 3 Male/Female - 1st = $200, 2nd = $100, 3rd = $50.
- Top 3 in 5 year age groups. (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over)
All Cash Award winners Must Fill out the provided 1099 Form in order to receive the cash prize in the form of a check mailed to the address on the 1099 Form. There will be a deadline for each race as to when the form must be returned in order to receive the cash prize.
5K Awards (in Person)
- Top Male & Female
- Top 3 in 5 year age groups. (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over)
There will not be an awards ceremony per se due to the differing times of people finishing between races BUT there will be a walk up table to get your award as follows:

5K Awards: We will start handing out awards at the awards table starting at 8:20AM. You can walk up at your leisure to get your award.
Half Awards: We will start handing out awards at the awards table starting at 9AM. You can walk up at your leisure to get your award. Subsequent lists will then be printed at 9:30AM, 10AM and 10:15AM as finishers roll in. So for example if you finish between 9 and 9:25am your award won't be ready until the after 9:30AM timeframe.

Course/Maps
Half Marathon: a wonderful countryside flat course that finishes along the beach path along Lake Ontario. Once you exit the park onto Moscow, you will do two loops of the Moscow/Redmond/Jacobs/Priem loop, then you will enter back into the park.

5K Course: this is all within the park, a flat course that finishes along the beach path along Lake Ontario
