2008 Round UP - What a great finale!!  Congrats to Leah Valvo and Brian Matthews for winning the entire series.  The post party was a blats.  The Overall Standings will be up shortly but we did award fun prizes.

Dora the Explorer Award (for the most directionally challenged):  Nominees:  Kathy Stewart, Ellen Brenner, Steve Levitsky and Travis Earley Travis is the winner!!

Camel Award (this is more of a thank you award - thank you for working our water stops each race): Dick and Mitzie Lewandowski

Financially Irresponsible Award (to the one who didn't sign up for the series so paid $10 for each race): Brian Matthews

The Best Ankle Sprain Award: Nominees - Becky Duberry (at Mendon Race 1), Steve Levitsky (at Webster - Race 2), Melissa Polakos (Ellison - Race 3), Wilt Alston (Mendon - Race 4).  The winner because they had to be carried out by 2 people, then another 2 people took over - Melissa Polakos.

We will run at each location twice, the only difference will be that you'll run the course backwards a second time.

What do you get: A super cool mid week low key trail race.  Chip timing included along with post race food.  After the races at Ellison Wetlands, we will be adjourning to MacGregors for a post race party.

At the last race we will host the awards party at MacGregors on Empire Blvd.

Registration: Available at the race site of each event.  We do encourage pre-registering though.  Consider registering for the Series too.

Directions to Parks:

MENDON PONDS PARK - Route 65 (Clover Street) south from Monroe Avenue.  Go to 3rd entrance.  Turn left onto the Pond Rd/Nature Center Entrance.   At bottom of big hill turn left.  The race starts at the top of Devil's Bathtub.  If you went past the big Mendon Pond you went too far.  Look for signs.

WEBSTER PARK - Route 104, Exit at Holt Rd.  Head north (toward the lake) onto Holt, take until it ends at Lake Rd and make left onto Lake.  About ½ mi on your left is a campground entrance, just past Kanatota Lodge.  Make a left here and continue straight through to Onondaga Lodge, following Race Parking signs.

ELLISON WETLANDS PARK - 590 to Empire Blvd East. Park is at bottom of hill next to MacGregor's.
